Cindy Crosby, MS, MBA, RPSGT, Director Sleep Services, presents the use case for EnsoSleep AI Scoring at UCHealth North.
In a recent EnsoData-hosted webinar, Cindy Crosby, UCHealth Director of Sleep Services, shared expertise on optimizing sleep lab operations, including her business case presentation for EnsoSleep to UCHealth C-suite members. Crosby detailed how EnsoSleep boosted efficiency and enhanced patient care within their sleep lab. In the following clips, Crosby highlights her experience with EnsoSleep, what she loves about AI Scoring support, the business case she proposed to her leadership team after researching EnsoData, and customer testimonials about EnsoSleep that shifted her opinion of the automated scoring solution.
First up, see the use case Cindy Crosby presented to UCHealth leadership prior to implementing EnsoSleep AI sleep scoring for both in-lab and at-home sleep studies. By implementing EnsoSleep, the UCHealth team aimed to drastically reduce the time required to score both PSGs and HSATs, with goals to cut PSG scoring from 75 minutes to just 20 minutes, and HSATs from 30 minutes to just 10 minutes per study. Combining this savings with projected volume growth, Crosby estimated a future savings of more than 3,000 hours.
In this second clip, Crosby highlights the estimated revenue lift associated with adding EnsoSleep. For UCHealth’s team and sleep study count, the increase was estimated at just over $30,000 per month. This represents a greater than 4X ROI for EnsoSleep.
In her discussion with leadership, Crosby also showcased what other sleep labs are saying about EnsoSleep. These testimonials come from Capterra, a third party review site, and reference various benefits of using EnsoSleep, including improved physicians satisfaction, enhanced care for higher acuity patients, and increased efficiency and testing volume.
Finally, Crosby outlined what has made EnsoSleep so valuable and successful within the UCHealth sleep labs: the adaptability. When something isn’t exactly right, EnsoData engineers work with the sleep lab team to tweak scoring settings to mirror sleep lab preferences. This sort of filtered input really makes a difference in establishing a consistent, standardized output from the RPSGTs.
